Those that enforce the law will always be thought of as goons by lawbreakers. It’s a given. One of the nicer things to come out of this has been local civil rights activists (one that served on the police Comission) stepping up and talking about how much improved LAPD has become in the last decade. Still a work in progress but they sought to debunk the accusation that things are just like the bad old days. No links, just an interview heard on 1070am news radio.
