Haha, I doubt it, but the infections you might get as a result of the practice probably are.

When I had my first child in 1959, shaving the labia was still a practice pre-delivery; growing it out was worse. I swore I would never do that to myself. I’ve read it’s no longer a practice pre-delivery.

Luckily, I never had much body hair to begin with, and in old age, have even less. : )
