One of the most irritating things about the opinion piece is that there are matters of simple fact like this one, about which they say, “The real situation is more complicated”. It’s not “more complicated”. Their “belief” is just plain wrong!

Of course, the response is, “You thinking they’re stupid is why Trump got elected!”

No, Trump getting elected is why I think they’re stupid.
