Did some or any part of the transaction involve Poland? Perhaps it was routed through a Polish server or somebody just clicked the wrong button.

That happened to a friend here, who used her US card to order something in Germany and had it sent to her parents’ address instead of her German address.

No the transaction didn’t appear to involve Poland, just the USA and Canada.

She says she responded to the E-bay survey on E-bay’s own Website. She noted that there were a number of languages in a drop-down menu to choose from (including English), but no matter which language she picked it would default to Polish instead (the drop down menu didn’t work).

My wife can read elementary Polish, so she could get through the survey.
