There is an indication that some of the Fundamentalists’ ardor for him is cooling but not enough to turn them Democrat to any great extent

At best we can hope that fewer of them will feel compelled to get out and support/vote for him

Personally, I’m hoping that just enough of the Fundies will choose to sit it out next year that Trump and the GOP lose big. They’re definitely a hardcore voting bloc, but if enough of them decide to stay home, it’d be enough to tip the balance in close races.
