On the one hand, that’s true- they did get us out of Nam, pushed for civil rights for minorities and women, encouraged environmentalism, and put pressure on a corrupt president to resign.

On the other hand, there is a large and very vocal proportion of them that are now, very actively, trying to roll back civil rights to the 50’s, who have no problem with endless war, are eagerly trashing the planet, and are close to worshiping a corrupt president as a god emperor. So I can sort of see their point.

No matter how much they may have accomplished in their youth, absent the boomers and silent generation, there is no Trump. That’s just a demographic fact.

Where I come from, the people who fit your description are younger. The boomers are still holding out for the things we fought for in the ‘60’s and after. So STFU about boomers. Or spend some time trashing white males instead — you’re the center of the disease, after all.
