Shit for all my criticisms of the media the past four years, it’s nice to see them treat the media as people other than a hostile enemy. He’s got a good team around him. I didn’t support Biden initially because I honestly worried about his age and thought he was too old fashioned but I’ve been convinced since early last Winter that he was the best for the job given all that’s going on. I keep on going back to that he was warning about Trump dismantling hte pandemic response team in October of last year. He’s a smart guy and I think it’s one of the most underrated things about him.

Biden’s tweet then? “We are not prepared for a pandemic. Trump has rolled back progress President Obama and I made to strengthen global health security. We need leadership that builds public trust, focuses on real threats, and mobilizes the world to stop outbreaks before they reach our shores.”

And one idiot commenter at that time: “We are probably not prepared for the meteor either. How about we focus resources on the daily problems we have instead of the 1 in 10,000 year event that is likely to not gallen anyways?”

Biden seems to have a great perspective on what this country needs and how to attain it. Unfortunately, every initiative will be sabotaged by McConnell.
