Two things…

1. Anyone who has been paying attention won’t buy it for a second, and

2. The Red Hats are gonna hate them for it.

Let them try.

This is primarily smoke screen for the media to ignore the complicity during the Biden Campaign. Plus once the election was held a bunch of people *did* stop paying attention. The Red Hats will cry a bit, but most of them will still vote GOP since it’s still the way to “own the libs” going forward and continue to pack the courts with conservative hacks and get Roe vs Wade overturned.

I think a lot of them found the Trump Cult useful as a bandwagon, but are not true believers.
