Too much history in a history book? What does he expect? Math?

Oh I remember my high school history classes. Not a peep about the Trail Of Tears. Thaddeus Stevens and Charles Sumner were vilified and Andrew Johnson was a hero for saving the Presidency from the debauchery of impeachment. Not a peep about the 1876 stolen election that allowed the end of Reconstruction. Uptown Sinclair was denounced as a Communist. No mention of what a racist Wilson was. No mention of Smidley Butler exposing the coup that tried to remove FDR. Truman was considered a Socialist because he supported National Health Insurance and he desegregated the military. Ike attacked for abandoning Joe McCarthy and sending the troops to Little Rock. They didn’t lay a glove on JFK but LBJ was blasted for going too far helping colored folks. Oh and we always had to be on guard because the Communists were infiltrating the US of A.
