Yeah, he’ll speak out, but he’ll be brushed off as Shinseki was, as being “incompetent,” “unruly,” and (the greatest sin of all) “conservative.” Dirt will be dug up to show that every bad call, every mistake, every casualty in Afghanistan can be traced back to him. The man’s going to carry the stink around with him for the rest of his life.
