Cape Police officer saves child’s life
CAPE CORAL -
A toddler is doing well after nearly drowning in the family pool last night. Thankfully, a hero wasn’t too far away. Cape Coral Police Officer Josh Morgan responded quickly and saved the girl’s life.…”When I got there, the Childs lips were blue, she was barely breathing and I could find very little pulse. I tried to get her airway clear because I knew she had ingested a lot of water,” he said.
Officer Morgan said he was able to get the girl to throw up and cry. As a father himself, he knew that was a good sign.
“This is the best possible scenario to a terrible situation. When you hear that kid cry – it’s the best thing you can hear in the world,” he said.
Now the girl’s mother is calling him a hero.
“He literally saved her life and I thank him for that,” she said.
