That’s all well but in that case it was not a violent crime (to my knowledge). There were no threats of violence, either implicit or explicit, no armed occupation, no acts of armed rebellion against the government and social order.
That is not the case here, or at Bundy Ranch once it escalated. Armed felonies occurred. Armed criminals walked away scot free. A delayed collection of fines isn’t going to cut it. Criminal prosecutions need to be conducted, and not years down the road when the statute of limitations is hobbling the case against them.
