Agreed on all three points. To be honest, I have to express my dislike of the caucuses here. Granted, I’ve never taken part in one so I have no idea what they’re like but frankly to me it seems that it’s a system that favors the loudmouth rather than someone who just wants to make their vote. Most of the time I’ve voted, I’ve known exactly who I was going to vote for that day. I don’t need a form of political peer pressure by way of a caucus frankly but if the state parties want to keep them, that is up to them I guess.

I’ll admit I enjoy watching the caucus spectacle each cycle in Iowa. It unique and interpersonal. But you’re right that in its typical form it limits who can participate (people who work during the caucus time for example).
