Mrs. FBW asked me how Republican women could possibly support Trump and now Kavanaugh.

I said it’s because they belong to more than one group. I pointed out that “White Evangelical Republican Women” are white evangelical Republicans, in addition to being women.

The group is more powerful than the individual. The individual can easily give up their own identity to be a part of the group.

It’s an identity thing.
