I heard this from another conservative today. The premise is if Democrats choose someone they deem “too liberal,” Republicans will have “no choice” but to re-elect Trump. It’s an interesting way to unburden themselves of any real responsibility.

Those people will vote GOP out of sheer cussedness no matter who the Dems nominate.

That should not even be a consideration.
