Such as, more recently, the coining of the term “antifa” to describe people who protest police brutality and the rise of American fascism. It’s not like “anti-fascist” is actually a bad thing, but the fascists are using it to try to demonize, and eventually de-humanize, their opponents. The effect it has is to make it easier to kill them, since they’re “anti-” and thus “the enemy” in the war that they created in their heads.

Antifa is a self-description.
There’s nothing wrong with antifascism, there’s lots that is wrong with the antifa.
