I’m just wondering if the craziness will go back down when a Republican gets back in office, or if the whole thing will just keep ramping upward for all eternity.

Maybe I’m mis-remembering or I just didn’t visit goofy sites, but the only really furious emotions I saw from lefties about Bush was over stuff that Bush actually did that were, I still think, kinda meaningful. Couple of unfunded wars, illegal wiretapping, outing a CIA agent, trashing habeus corpus… that kinda stuff.
