My brother-in-law says he knows (so this is anecdotal) someone who works for FEMA who is quitting her job.

According to him, they are simply denying FEMA payments in the Hurricane Harvey area because they are out of money. She can’t say FEMA is out of money though, so it’s tap-dance here and sashay there. She got tired of lying to people calling about their payments from the hurricane.

My brother-in-law took out loans to repair his home after Harvey on the expectation of a payment from FEMA. That payment hasn’t occurred yet.

This is not how it should work. Nothing about this is how government should work.

This is chaos. This is complete incompetence. This is stupidity with a capital S.
