While I personally agree that Trump is more than a few fries short of a Happy Meal just but how he’s been acting, it always makes me uncomfortable when people play armchair doctor, attempt to diagnose complicated things like mental illness at a distance, and are putting it all out in the media/Internet to draw attention to it.

Blame my former senator Dr. Bill Frist for doing that shit with Terri Schaivo for that…

That’s the problem though. He sure isn’t going to submit to examination, and he’s acting (to use my mother the psychologist’s technical term) crazy.

Several psychiatrists in the wake of the Trumptanic have called for dispensing with the Goldwater Rule (which prohibits diagnosing people without personally examining them). They argue that there is sufficient public footage and audio of Trump in the past and present that an accurate diagnosis can be made.

That said, Internet commandos aren’t generally psychologists or psychiatrists.
