There’s a hypothesis floating around out there in the ether that Trump might be suffering from frontotemporal dementia…..and that he’s getting MRI’s done at Walter Reed to track the progression of the disease.

My mom died of the frontotemporal dementia 15 years ago, and I was genuinely shocked at how rapidly it can progress.

The rumors of chest discomfort seem more likely. Trump may be experiencing the fear that he is facing a foe that he has not figured out how to escape despite the best efforts of his acolytes and Wormtongue (aka Barr) working in his defense. The public hearings demanded by the Republicans don’t seem to be working as they planned, his friend Roger Stone after a lifetime of criminal deeds is facing prison, there is a good chance his tax returns will soon be in the hands of his enemies, and Beshear and Edwards won their gubernatorial races, making him a “loser”. This has not been a good week for him — so sudden heart problems may not be an unexpected byproduct.
