There’s no guarantee those blastocysts/embryos would even implant, much less come to term. Just as half of all fertilized human ova fail to implant in *nature*, the odds are worse for IVF embryos. (Especially since some of these have been frozen for *years* and are likely in no good condition to be thawed out and implanted.)
True, but you wouldn’t want to have to explain that to a jury while facing capital murder charges that could put you on death row.
