That fool doesn’t know what he’s holding out for. I have never been so unimpressed with Congress in general as in the last 20 years. When I was a kid (60s-70s) It seemed congress had more stature. Or I’ve become cynical as hell (true). None of the current crop seem to have the guts/vision/articulate points like Henry Jackson, Evrett Dirkson, Goldwater, Proxmyer. These senators now seem but very pale shadows.
