It’s so stupid

Black people need different sorts of policies because they’re so poor.

This is a statistic I remember from NPR, percent wealth lost in the economic downturn:

average white person: 33%
average hispanic: 72%
average black person: 87%

If you want black people’s vote, support the poor. Promise you won’t fuck with medicare, promise you won’t fuck with social security, give poor people comprehensive health care coverage they can hold on to and afford, support a reasonable minimum wage [added].

In other words, don’t be the modern, Bircher, poor hating, racist fallating Republican party.

Hey Goldburg, remember the Southern Strategy you just lost an election with? It was based on using poor people as surrogates for blacks and opposing their interests!
