Something struck me the other day while watching movies on TCM. “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” was on. (If you have never seen this, please do so.)
Sidney Poitier’s character is talking to his father and says, “One of our differences is that you view yourself as a black man. And I just view myself as a man.” (paraphrase)
Thanks, I need to. Pretty groundbreaking film really. I think it came out the year Loving was ruled on.
