re: #9 Anymouse 🌹🎃

Wasn’t Tevye the Dairyman a fictional Jewish character in a story written in the XIX Century, adapted as “Fiddler on the Roof?”

My comment on prayer was Christian prayer.

Do some Christians think of prayer that way? Sure, I guess.

How many churches of all denominations call for God to inspire or bring about the conversion of the whole world (as interpreted by them of course)? Wouldn’t that be “telling God how to do his job?” Or prayer to spare those in the path of a hurricane (when not praying to divert a hurricane)? If it’s God’s will someone should die in a horrible storm, why are prayers offered to change his mind?

Oh, right, I forgot. There is no difference. Every Christian is exactly 100% the same and can’t possibly be different. Please forgive me for doubting your perfect knowledge.
