Did a dry run of a simple telescope rig for tomorrow’s transit of Mercury. If it’s a holiday, and clear, East Coast lizards can see it starting at dawn, continuing until about 1330. Eyepiece projection is the way to go for safety.

I wish these things would happen on the weekends.
