That is almost a certainty. That said I am also confident that he knew he would likely be fired the moment he wrote that report saying the election was secure and specifically debunking the president’s lies.

I do wonder if there is literally anything Trump could do, be it fire someone or take some action that would lead Republicans to dump him en masse. I am not confident that there is….. What a depressing state of affairs.

Trump nuking a major American city is about the only thing I can think of that might shake his GOP support in the Senate, but much would depend on the details there.
