I work in a union supermarket. Evey time a union rep come up to me to tell me why i should wear a sticker I politely decline. Usually that try to pressure me to wear a stupid sticker saying something like "But you paid stickers and you NEED to show solidity with you fellow union members."

A year and a half ago their was threat of a strike. Despite the news reports giving vague ideas on the sticking points in negotiations (wages, health care, etc) the Union people who came in would not tell me that info. They just talked and talked to try to "inform and educate me" but refused to answer questions. Twice I ended up walking out of the building when they wouldn't leave me alone.
