I can’t imagine why/how homosexuals would want to stick their necks out to support Hamas—which advocates the death penalty for homosexuality—at the expense of Israel (which has legal protection for gays and lesbians).

The gays and lesbians who insist that Israel is an apartheid and oppressive state are far too ignorant to understand the consequences of their support for “Palestine.” This particular crowd is anti-authoritarian and anti-military but fail to realize that Israel, like the U.S., is still the safest place to live for folk of their nature (and yes, I firmly believe that being gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered is as naturally occurring as the involuntary act of breathing). Like many people, they have walked into the great debate of Israel/”Palestine” not from the very beginning (pre-1948) but from the Second Intifada; meaning, they care completely ignorant of why Israel has done what it has done to ensure its safety, and they are equally ignorant of the violence and deception perpetuated by Arab nations and organizations. In short, they are products of the new era of passionate politics lacking sorely in facts.
