That term was being used in Arizona back in 1976 when I was in Phoenix. What’s the problem with it?

It’s an ARABIC WORD!!!! Just think how our soldiers (who apparently are fighting against the Arabic language), will feel, coming home and hearing an ARABIC WORD on TV!!!!

Oh, for God’s sake. A kid I used to teach had a dad who was career Army Intelligence. He taught all the kids in class a little Arabic, just a few fun words. The idea that soldiers are fainting goats who will pass out cold if they get back from Iraq and hear someone say ‘haboob’ on TV is ridiculous.

I will now go and get a sandwich with liberty cabbage on it, and try to get over this.
