I am also reminded of a story about a mixed race couple buying a condo in NYC. To make a long (and funny) story short. Very pregnant black woman and white husband show up at the closing and woman has not brought an ID with her. Agent says they can’t proceed because the wife can’t prove who she is and there have been cases of men using a girlfriend masquerading as their wife to fraudulently buy or sell property. It is a hot day and wife’s temper is a little short, so she stands up and asks the relevant question-If my husband were trying to pass off someone as his wife, would he choose a pregnant black woman? The transaction was allowed to proceed…

So, if you are committing voter fraud in rural Maine, would you choose to bus in black people? I don’t think so.
