It’s a game that’s basically multi-layered chess with historical figures as pieces. There’s no story, it’s all about gameplay. Different religions give specific bonuses to attributes like population growth, finance, and culture, and their spread can be affected in certain ways. Try not to get offended by pretty much the most inoffensive game ever.

And what if their next game is a Nazi concentration camp where you get varying points for killing Jews, Romany, dissidents and “defectives”? Still inoffensive? & if not, how is it different than this? Costuming?
