I consider myself very lucky to have a friend who is a vet and willing to provide second opinions/verification that the vet isn’t screwing up for her friends. (She actively will not take friends’ pets as patients.)

It means I can save the freakouts for serious shit.

My best friend is not only in pharmacy school right now but she used to work as a dog groomer and with animals. Not only can I ask her questions about various medications, but if my cats do something weird I can ask her about that too. It’s win-win.
