I want to clarify my thought process, because I reread all that I wrote before and I don’t intend to scold.

Russia doesn’t give two figs what we do with things like healthcare, LBGTQ rights, criminal justice reform, etc. They only want the US weakened, and our attention diverted from the plays they are making in their neck of the woods.

And higher oil prices. And nothing raises oil prices faster than political instability and threats of military force in and around oil-producing regions…
