I’m going to put some of the blame on Obama’s well known preference for careful and judicious reactions to political crises. I admire the man no end, but Russia’s interference in our election process should have been characterized as an act of war — or close to it — with suitable reprisals taken with extreme prejudice.

From the WaPo article, it sounds like a method retaliation is already in place. The CIA has likely already inserted something like a Stuxnet-like virus into Russia’s e-infrastructure. It just needs POTUS authorization to pull the trigger. Granted, that’s highly unlikely with Trump. But with the next POTUS, who knows. Russia does something again, we bring the whole country crashing down - a digital Pearl Harbor/Hiroshima combined.
