First time I ever visited LGF was 2004 or so, at Bud Werner Memorial Library in Steamboat Springs, CO. The comments section was why I kept coming back. And boy! The comments section has gone through some shit over the years!

Yeah, it’s been a pretty crazy ride. I started reading sometime in late ‘05 or early ‘06, though I joined on 9/11/06. Round about then was when LGF seemed to be reaching peak wingnut. Of course, in 2008 Charles made public his break with the right, and then a bunch of the right-wing trolls got banned in short order in the Great Right-Wing Purge. It’s been a different place ever since.
