But you see, again, it’s that same standard where anything a GOPer says must be treated as inherently credible and legitimate by default simply because Republicans are considered credible and legitimate by default. If a Dem said anything salacious or untoward about a Republican, they’re accused of smearing, ‘playing politics’, ‘identity politics’, etc. even if/when their accusations are borne out. Same as it always is, no matter what.
