The first time I heard a CD I freaked out. I had never heard anything but crackle, hiss, and pop between songs and was shocked by the silence. It sounded shiny and shallow, but tech improved pretty quickly.

Do you know hard hard it was for the musicians to learn how to make their instruments crack like that?
