Just had what I thought was a cardiac episode. Intense pressure in the chest, some burning, no pain in the extremities. BP 165/100. I took a nitro tab and some aspirin, and it is much better now. 134/82. The farm manager and his wife are here, God bless them, and they will sit with me for a while to make sure it doesn’t recur.
This has me thinking again that I should perhaps move to town to be closer to emergency care but the advantage may be illusory. We can get to the Weatherford ER pretty fast down I-20 and a chopper can land right in the front yard here if it comes to that. Try that in the ‘burbs.
