I understand the worry, I do. That’s why I answer in good faith. The fact of the matter is, on January 20th, Donald J. Trump WILL leave the White House as a private citizen (and shortly thereafter be arrested pending extradition to New York), and Joseph R. Biden, Jr., WILL be sworn in as the 46th President of the United States. There is no maneuver, legal or illegal, that Trump can do to change that. The only thing that could change it is if someone wielding power over military or judicial matters was inclined to break the Constitution - but they have all said they won’t.
