Oh, from the limited discussions in Discord he (and presumably his wife) do have a *much* better understanding of how nasty a case of this virus can be without killing you. Whether this will have a long term effect on their opinions and decisions regarding vaccination and politics remains to be seen.

Just popping in after reading this post at dKos about a guy who had Covid, survived it (natural immunity) then got it again and died. So what doesn’t kill you sometimes comes back and finishes the job.
