Driving while holding a cellphone is stupid; handsfree laws make sense. But the recent rumbles I have heard that it is “just as dangerous” to drive while talking on a handsfree is simply nuts. Will it next become illegal to talk to the other people in the car?

It’s the stupidest thing - talking hands-free is definitely safer than having a person sitting next to you who needs eye contact, gestures and maybe a pat on the shoulder for the communication to work.

The Safety Nazis should ban radio, too, while they’re at it. All that fumbling with dials and stuff…
