Thing is, Cox’s idiot repliers sound like down-right geniuses compared to Trumpers.

I see a lot of the Cox repliers are using the term Minarchist which brings back memories of the Pitt Economics department in the 70s when I was doing my undergrad work. Libertarianism was on the rise and there was a split in the party between John Hosper’s Minarchists who wanted to shrink the government to the “size of a walnut” and Murray Rothbard’s Anarcho-Capitalists who wanted no state at all. I remember when Nicholas VonHoffman (Who was the original “liberal” Point/Counterpoint man on 60 Minutes) joined the Libertarian Party and championed Rothbard. He came to speak at Pitt and was cheered when he said that the Libertarian Party was the only one worth fighting for.

In other words, ol’ Nick floated so high up in the rarified air of his Ayn Randian Laissez Fairyland that he wound up brain-dead.
