IIJM, or does SoS Mike Pompeo sound like he’s in the running for the Goebbels Award for this Administration?
I thought Tillerson was bad at State: he looks like Talleyrand in retrospect: Pompeo seems unable to articulate any idea of US foreign policy that isn’t either 1)simply a parroting of whatever cliche, catchphrase or propaganda tagline the Admin wants to promulgate, or 2) angry resentment and/or hollow threats towards anyone who questions item 1).

Pompeo most likely recognizes that the only way to not get shitcanned by President Manbaby is to pucker up and kiss his ass a hundred times a day. So, he says what he thinks will make the Cretin-in-Chief happy.
