If these things return to service, I will not book a flight on any line that uses them or cannot guarantee that I my flight will not be on a 737 Max.

I don’t know, seems like misplaced risk assessment. Because as screwed up as the Max is I’m pretty sure flying on one would still be safer than driving which most of us do everyday.
