Meanwhile, over in the UK, I see that Boris Johnson is blaming the EU for trying to “carve up” the UK.

It’s all about the Brexiteers not wanting to take responsibility for what Brexit really means in Northern Ireland.

Namely, the only way to have the EU and the UK to have controlled trade is to have a hard border between NI and the RoI.

But of course the Irish don’t want that.

So now Johnson is saying the EU is going to set up a de facto border in the Irish sea.

When all along it was the Brexiteers who ignored the Irish.

The chickens will eventually come home to roost.
