The people claiming there’s a crisis at the southern border (because it’s never about the border with Canada) are also the ones living furthest from the border - all fixated on the feels of the white nationalist GOP base.

I remember the story a couple years ago about the wingnut with a northern Minnesota vacation home who was concerned all the “illegals” were going to come up and take over her lake house in the middle of Minnesota’s winter.
