She’s total trash. Voted against extending the Voting Rights Act, voted against the aid package for Katrina victims…the kind of Rep. you’d expect from a southern predominantly rural district that’s 90% white.

When she graduated from a state school (UNC) back in 1968, she probably had extremely low tuition and no need for large loans. But you’d think someone with a doctorate in education might see more value in making college affordable.
