Greetings, Lizard Nation. I have been out of action for a couple of days because I had a heart attack Thursday afternoon. I had just gotten in from the grocery store when it hit. I called 9-1-1 first of course, then my brother in Colorado (he is a minister and would conduct the funeral service in the worst case scenario, so I thought it was a good idea to give him a heads-up). I called my daughter after that. As you can see, I survived after an emergency angioplasty. I am now back home, to a bed that won’t try to strangle me, clothes that are not designed to degrade the wearer, a quiet environment where slamming doors and chattering people won’t wake me up every few minutes, and edible food. The latter is conjectural right now because I am still having a lot of nausea and can’t seem to hold anything down. I’m still very tired and moving at about half speed. My daughter is here, along with my friend Harv and the farm manager and his family so I am not lacking for help. My insurance will pay the bill, though I am wondering if new Trump rules might allow them to put out a contract on me.
