Bun E. Carlos mentions are automatic updings don’t cha know.

I’m a drummer, and I got to see the ‘Tricksters on their first big American tour. Been a fan since. They kicked major ass and everyone in the club that night knew it. And Bun laid it down.

I’m a drummer too, and I had the (mis)fortune of looking a lot like Bun E. Carlos. I used to hear it all the time, most notably when Chris Mars and Bob Stinson ran up on stage after our set one night to tell me “You look just like the drummer from Cheap Trick!!” I finally grew a beard, so now I still look like Bun E Carlos.

I’m on this T-shirt just a little to the right. The guys from Husker Du are to the left. The T-shirt image is from the MN Historical Society’s ‘MN Music’ collection (and I have one too).
